Name: Nathaniel “Grave” Fox (Often called Fox, or even Grave Digger)
Age:32
Sex:Male
Race: Human
Height:6’2”
Description: Long, dark, unkempt hair; short, scruffy beard, Blue-ish Green eyes. Slightly muscular build. Wears average clothes of earthen tones. Almost always smiling, even when things get to their worst.
-Melee Weapons: An old spade and a cutlass. A bit of a hack-and-slasher when it comes to his cutlass, but he has turned spade fighting into an art form.
-Ranged Weapons: A single dwarven pistol, mostly used for cheap shots
-Orb magics, other magics, and enchanted weapon magics: Nathan’s spade was passed down through his family, embedded in it are three basic orbs. A basic air orb, making him capable of hurling lightning (ball or jolt) as well as channeling existing lightening in the same fashion; a basic earth orb, allowing him to lift and move sections of dirt and earth (like lifting a chunk of earth up out of the ground and moving it. The larger the chunk, the more energy required), and a second basic air orb, allowing him to control the air around him to allow him to jump much higher and further then normal, and still land safely.
Additional skills: Insulting others. Smooth talking. Misdirecting. Finding treasure. Tailoring
Weaknesses: Money, ale, food, over confidence, not knowing when to shut up, ship-jumper
Alliance: Whoever has the most power, money, or who ever he chooses
Brief History: Nathan was born to a grave digger father and a tailor mother. His life was normal, except for some strange events surrounding his dad. When he was twenty one, both his mother and father took ill and died, leaving everything to him. No longer tied to his home town, he sold everything except a few key items, including his father’s spade, and started on the road. Not long after he discovered what was behind the strange stories surrounding his father. The spade held orbs, which he quickly learned to control. Now he travels the land, searching for treasure, doing odd jobs, and causing trouble where ever he goes.
Sample Role Playing: The blade came down toward his head, but with a swift motion, he brought up his spade, blocking. “You’re a bit slow, there. Gonna have ta move faster then tha’!” Nathan said with a smile before pushing against the bandit’s sword, throwing him backwards. With a quick swing, he caught him in the gut, sending the bandit reeling. The spade was suddenly ripped from his hands by a second pirate. Nathaniel pulled his cutlass free. “Now this is getting’ exciting!” he said, still smiling as he turned to face his new opponent. Nathan swung, the bandit blocked, and Nathan grabbed his hand. With a quick kick to the gut, the second bandit hit the ground. Nathan slid his cutlass back into its sheath before retrieving his spade. “It’s been fun, but I’ve gotta run!” He turned and hurried off down the road. “Hold it!” the first bandit yelled, as he raised a bow with an arrow ready. Nathan turned and sighed. “Alright. Alright. What do you want?” “Everything you’ve got!” Nathan smiled, “You got it!” With his spade over his shoulder in his right hand, he lifted his left. A large chunk of earth lifted up out of the road. He swung the spade like a club and, without even hitting the chunk, sent it flying toward the archer bandit, knocking him out cold. He then rested the spade on his shoulder. Then with his free hand, he reached toward the other. “What’s wrong, you look shocked!” a bolt of lightning shot from his fingertips, hitting the second pirate. He fell to the ground, twitching. Nathan nodded with a smirk and turned, heading off on his way again, humming to himself.
