Jaymes limped over the edge of the wall, nearly slipping in the gaping hole in there. Capital City was still in ruin, and the main wall was only half repaired but I was important to the people to have the seat of government back there. "What's the problem?" he asked a man clad in rough chain and plate mail. "Sir, we have a band of Orkan, elves and regenade humans demanding our surrender. They number about two thousand." Jaymes grimaced, he had five hundred men, mostly Outriders such as this man here, or milita, most Knights were leading city guards or dead. "Place everyone you can on the walls...we will defend Capital City." He glanced over the wasteland that used to be the Plains of Honor, and the destoyed statues. He glared at the angry mob in front of wall. Damn Bastards, all we want is to rebuild our homes... The mosted out of the way as his men moved into position to repel the invaders. "Hide the Council in the Library."

The supply unit had been sent to help Kalor rebuild its nation the instant Stron heard they where back within there capital. Although they had aided Kalor in the war Kalor did not know that and thus the units where uneasy about how they would be treated upon arrival. They where now a mile or two from the capital and could see the force amassed at there walls Tokuth yelled down to his soldiers "Drop the supplies and gear for battle for it is upon us. Dragoths to the sky's! Skrieves load you guns and get going! Grogowens dawn your gear and meet us on the battle ground!" All the troops shouted at one another getting things ready as fast as they could. When the Dragoths where ready Tokuth lead them into the skys at there enemys they would be the fist to aid the people Kalor."

They attacked at dawn, with bows and slings and javlins. Charging the crude wooden edifice that served as a gate until the orginal could be repaired. The Kalorians fought back with the determination that only a people who have truely suffered war can. Jaymes could see the Zargonian unit just outside the battle. "If that unit makes a dash for the gates, open it!" He instructed while unleashing a blast of holy fire at the oncoming army. It was going better than could be expected, every man that could weild a weapon was fighting, but their were to few to hold the massive wall. There was no where to fall back to..

The Skrieve gunner Sargent barked orders to the fire teams that where assigned to the supply unit "Get the cannons on top of the crates! Strap them down and angle them high I want cannon fire on the enemy before the main force gets there! Your the best we got so make every shot count and for the love of Zargon don't miss!" As the they began to fire some of the cannons broke through there crates "All of you without firring cannons start fortifying the position with anything, if they try to retreat through here I want something between us and them!" Meanwhile the 11th Grogowen division and the Skrieves 31st light brigade where half way to the enemy's backsides. The Dragoths where above volley range of the horde below, but unfortunately for the horde below they where not out of the range of the Dragoths bows (Arrows can go further down than up... for any one who didn't catch that) although there weren't many Dragoths they still where able to let down a slight rain of arrows then Tokuth gave commands "When you out of arrows try low risk hit and runs don't put yourself at risk! Wait for the army to get here then back them where necessary!"
