Fabador stood alone opposite of the group leaning against the wall arms crossed. He gave a brief smile when the small torch next to him froze after a prolonged exposer to his dreadful prescience.

"Very well. Lets begin." the Guild Master said. Jonok removed a handful of dust from a bowl on the pedestal in the middle of the room, and walked toward Blood. "Everything you are about to see will not leave this room." With these words, he threw the dust into Bloods face, causing a dream like state. "Tell me Blood, what is your darkest fear?" The room seemed to become very dark, so dark that even creatures of the night could not see. It was dark except for a single beam of light that came down directly over Blood. "Your deepest fears..." this time, Jonok's voice seemed to be coming from all around Blood. The dream like state also worked like a truth serum and soon Blood would tell this fear.

Fabador grew tired and board "Why am I here again?" he thought to himself as he sat cross legged on the ground. Then he dismissed the thought and drew his dark blade and laid it upon his lap as he did this a dark mist came from the sword and hung over the floor chilling the room and everyone in it even more with the presence of darkness. Fabador inhaled a large deep breath enthralling himself with the presence of darkness and dread he and his sword had created.

Ghen, the Doujin mercenary, morphed back to human form in front of the Guilds Main Entrance. He knocked on the door, hoping he wasnt too late.

With a long stride Rhaon walked past the man that had just started knocking and kicked the door with such force it slammed open. Ignoring any and all eyes that may be peering at him Rhaon let the water from the rain drip off of his clothes and pack, as he strode into the chilly room and set down his pack with a thump. "Obviously everyone is waiting around for something" thought Rhaon as he took out his gear and started making more of his custom made bullets and powder.... and most importantly observe the people around him. The most important looking of the bunch was a woman with a flaming sword and a lone man sitting on the opposite side of the room with a frozen torch beside him.

The darkness stopped around Liniz, the faint flames of Ever Fire grew bright, and disspelled the dark cold from around Liniz. "White Magic," She said as way of explanation. "Stole it from the Kalorian Knight's armory"

Fabador did not like anything that had to do with white magic, but seeing how she stole it was.... not enough to quell his hatred of the white magic, so he gave the slightest nods out of curtisy... after all Shades may be pure evil, but there civilized evil. After that was settled Fabador went back to drawing deep breaths of the dark cold air.

Liniz shuddered, although not a follower of any god other than Avan'Jolee (Even then, just enough to get magic), and not alined with any side, Good Evil or Neutral, she was repused my this Shade. Yet at the same time, intrigued.

Blood remembered this place, This was the town where he and his wife had lived for a short time. Why was he in chains. why was his wife tied to a stake, why was everyone angry, then he remembered he was a vampire. He looked up at his wife "Why, why couldn't you save me, i loved you and look what you did to me." she said while the people had started the fire. Try a Blood might he could not get free and save his beloved. She died right before his eyes and he could nothing to save her.
When Blood awoke from his dream state he just sat there and wept.

"Congratulations, you are now the first recruited member of the Mercenary Guild. The test you just passed was very difficult, I know, but you will move on. This test is to remain secret, you will never discuss it with anyone, not even other Guild members. You now bear the Guild mark on the back of your right hand. The mark is magic and is only visible when the mercenary wishes it." Jonok told Blood how to call the mark and how to hide it away. "This mark is how you will prove you are a mercenary. Now, I will have one of the Guild Leaders to take you to your room. He will furnish it anyway you wish."
The two left the chamber and entered the entry hall, where a Leader took Blood off to his assigned room. Jonok turned to the woman who commanded the band of men. "You," he said pointing to her, "Do you accept responsibility for your men?"

Fabador peered on with interest he knew the girl had skill, but was she the leader of all these men? Noticing that he had lifted his head he quickly went into a meditational stance and listened intently to the heat beats of those around him.... the guild masters was steady and slow which showed signs of a calm collected person, the girls was slightly faster showing her youth and slight anxiety of what was going on these where the only ones he truly paid attention to because all others seemed less.... important
(No offense everyone else just setting his attitude)

"I do. My men are loyal to no one, Mortal or God, but me." She stood, sheathing Ever Fire. "I assume I am the only one of my Company who needs to take this test?"

At that moment, for the second time, the door slammed open. An icy draft blew in, and with it came a elf in black, his cloak blowing in the wind. The elf stepped over the threshold, and the door shut behind him. Gun barely glanced around the room before addressing Jonok, "I assume by your well-fortified self that you are the leader of this guild, by whom I must be tested. I also assume, by the number of people sitting here and the one who is not, that I am the last of a long line, Am I not?"

"Yes you are. And it's not polite to go around slamming people's doors open." Jonok said to the elf. He then turned to the human. "You are correct, only you will be tested. Please come this way." Jonok led Liniz into the Chamber of Trials. Once the door was closed and he had began to walk across the room as he asked "So, what do you call yourself?"

"A pleasure to meet you, Liniz Fa. I believe you were here when I began Blood's tests, so you know what will happen with the first set of tests. So, attack me!" Jonok said as he moved into a defensive pose.

Rhaon glared at the man who had entered the room "What a copy cat." he thought for one that was his entrance and two his black outfit kinda looked like his and three he had guns to he almost lost control of his emotions and turned red with anger, but caught himself at the last moment and stayed his solid black color... "Well at least he doesn't have my hat" thought Rhaon as he continued working on his custom weapons making powder, cleaning barrels and everything else he needed to do before his test

Ghen had slipped in noislesly and stood in the shadows. When the door opened again, he was barely able to move in time so he wasnt cruched by it.

Everyone in the room did not seem to notice the man hidden in the shadows, but to a shade like Fabador actually any shade can see in shadows just as good if not better then there vision in the day. Fabador gave the man a slight thought but then decided that he wasn't worth the time.

Before Liniz began her attack she unbuckled her massive paldrons and lowered them to the floor gently. She drew Ever Fire in her right hand and her dirk in the other. She attacked Jonok with a wide swipe with her sword and a quick stab with her dirk.

The knights may have had some white magic, but with there leader gone the room filled with the cold darkness of Fabadors presence. Fabador listened intently at the hearts of the new comers the first one that kicked open the door had a calm collected heart the second one to kick the door open also had a calm heart and the one hidden in the shadows..... wasn't worth Fabadors time.
(why are things unimportant you ask? because Fabador is the second oldest shade ever he is as old as magic itself, so from all his years of travailing this world he has seen many things)

One glance across the room at the man making bullets was enough for Gun to realize what the other was thinking. He was eying Gun and deciding that he was only a wanna be, well they'd just see about that, he thought. He took a seat in a corner where he could see all the doors reasonably well and was about to meditate when he saw something move in the shadows across the room. So, the mercenary guild had one of those pitiable fools who tried to hide in the shadows, well, who was he to complain. Gun rested his forhead on his hand and began meditating in order to center himself. To the others he looked as if he were asleep.
